2018 50th Anniversary Houston Area Urban League

I had the pleasure of attending The 50th Anniversary Houston Area Urban League Gala last Saturday night in downtown Houston. The gala was held to celebrate the Houston Area Urban League's chronological milestone of having a presence in Houston for 50 years and to help raise money for the economic empowerment programs that the Houston Area Urban League operates to assist African Americans and other minorities . These programs include helping individuals plan and execute financial goals such as business development, homeownership, and workforce training. I will be returning again next year. Especially since I won some great Houston Rockets memorbilia at their silent auction fundraiser to decorate the office with.
